Not. Quite. Dead. Yet.
But somewhat close. I've been spending the previous weeks hacking away at the next beta release of LDE(X). The first beta seems to be going well -- by all accounts it's been a pretty stable release. Hopefully I'll be able to get things up to release candidate status by the end of the year, and maybe get beta 2 out this weekend. Depends on how much time I can set aside for debugging duing my holiday activities.
(Wait... what holiday activities?)
There's been some concern lately about LiteStep development being dead. Reminds me that I need to bear down on learning C/C++ these days. At least I've managed to get a better book than the one that I was using previously. Seriously, C Primer Plus rocks. If anyone is looking into learning C from scratch, I highly recommend it.
Oh, and one other thing.
It's tragic, yes. It's brutal, yes. It's something that people should discuss, yes.
But if I hear the word "womb" one more time I'm going to vomit.

I can't stand the whole Peterson thing either. I'm particularly annoyed by the people I meet who seem to think that because they've read articles about the case in People magazine that they're in a position to offer a qualified legal opinion about the verdict and sentencing. There's a reason why people are paid money to be lawyers - they know a lot that we don't know, and we aren't privy to all of the facts of the case. I get very irritated by that.
Anyway, have a good Christmas.
