I am in the process of cutting off any stragglers in my circle, and wonder if anyone will resent me--not that I'll care very much if they do, but I still wonder. I don't see the point in keeping people who don't contact me to initiate conversation or to participate in an activity, or respond when I try to do so. At one point, they were in my life, but not now.
