Whoa, I just got attacked by a lawn chair. 
You see, we have this chair with a crack in it, and I got my dress skirt stuck in the crack. The crack would not give me it back, and started tearing a hole in the dress, so I had to unbutton the top of my dress, take it off, then wedge a small gardening utensil into the crack to get it out. Crap. I hope my neighbor didn't see me, as he was out trimming weeds.. but I think he's far enough away that he didn't. It's a new black dress with polka dots on it, very retro, that I got from the thrift store in town, and now it has a hole in it..
How sad...but, luckily, fixable.
I was also visited by a little nuthatch who somehow didn't notice my cigarette smoke and came down and sat on the bird feeder for a bit, then made eye contact with me and flew away to begin pecking away at the nearest dead tree. Which isn't far, because one of the trees is dead and our neighbor has yet to finish cutting it..ew. He was quite the cutie. They're my favorite birds, besides blue herons, kestrels, and falcons.

Whoa, now all the birds are coming down here.. I wonder if they like cloves, too? Funkified.
I live out in the country, so I'm privileged, I suppose.

Granted, my portfolio does need a redesign and a good updating, but I'm working on it when I'm not busy..
