Well, I got some piercings, finally. These were "birthday piercings" so John got 'em for me.
16 gauge in my nose (it's a ring) in the right nostril, 14 gauge in my lip right in the middle. I got them at Freaks in Kansas City. John suggested I go for two different trips, but nah, I really have wanted the lip ring for quite awhile so I couldn't resist getting it all in one trip.
My nose bled quite a bit after getting pierced - piercer said that maybe it's because I'm anemic, but who knows, I had had a nose bleed earlier in the day anyhow, so I wasn't too surprised. John said that it was "kinda hot" because I had blood all over my face and even my teeth so I "looked like some vampire" - lol. I never even knew what was going on, because my eyes were watering a lot and I thought it was just water from my eyes, and until Steenie (the piercer) said "Uh oh, we've got a bleeder!" I didn't even know I was bleeding at all. She had to lay me back in the chair and clean me off - I just let her, I couldn't really see what was going on anyhow, obviously. Anyhow, if you live in KC and need a piercer, I would definitely recommend Steenie at Freaks, she was really nice, and she even helped me figure out where the best place would be for my lip ring, etc, etc. (Because I'm new to all this piercing junk)
Hopefully I'll get to shoot some photos with Darkie soon, whee!

I see you have an interest in anything Egyptian. Anything that drawns your attention to Egypt?
