All that is nerdiness...
I just preordered Star Wars Episodes IV - VI on BluRay (because I'm going to be perfectly frank, the prequels suck, and suck bad so there is no f'in way I'm buying them.) I'm preparing to be wowed at how Lucas and his team can screw up one of the best space westerns made with even more fuzzy, I want to vomit, cuteness and overly done CGI. Nerds and money, why?
Further nerdiness ensues. I have been redoing the software on my home-built pc with Win 7 so I've been switching to the Hackintosh (OSx 10.6.x) partition to still get some homework completed. Last night I took a break and was going to watch a movie while I worked and it wasn't working. Silly me, I forgot that Quartz stopped working 3 or 4 patches ago. So in all my nerdiness I set out on an adventure to fix it. So with the help of my hobbit friends I set out on a magical journey to discover what broke the advanced graphics enabler on old Hacky. It took all of 5 minutes after applying a few kexts and voila, movie was served. I'm not even sure why I asked the hobbits to help, all they did was eat and drink. Oh well, they are good company in there grand furry footedness.
So that was my Monday night and Tuesday morning so far. Work sucks, but what's new.
