Tactile stimulation and the human condition.
Throughout my life I have had a compulsion to touch everything, unless it looks dirty, especially soft things. If you were to take me to a fabric store, you would see the demon take over as I walk from row to row, table to table, touching everything in site. I especially love touching velvet, nylon and fishnet stockings, soft fleece, etc. I love textures and often find that a mixture of textures in the bedroom will drive my senses wild. At times I find intimate touching to be much more satisfying as a form of foreplay when a woman has lace on her undergarments, even more so if she has stockings and a garter.
Well I just made myself laugh at how it went from rant to kink. So back to the rant. I have found that many people find tactile expression to be weird. I often find myself saying, I love your dress may I touch it. Your hair looks so soft, may I feel. Of course I find that with my friends and family they already know me and allow it, but it can be odd with acquaintances or strangers. Recently I was at a business conference with some coworkers and while at dinner one night one of the ladies wore a velvet skirt. After dinner we were sitting in the lobby of this hotel/casino and talking about philosophy. I asked to touch her skirt at one point and when I did she had a somewhat startled odd expression on her face. When I explained to her that I am just a tactile person and I touch everything, she exclaimed, "wish my husband would do that". End of story, sorry for the perverts expecting an erotic coworker story, if you want that kind of thing go to Literotica. My mind has been exploring that remark for some time now, I am curious what touch means to different people. I think touch is a good thing, it is like a handshake or a hug, and it's meaning is dictated by the nature and location of the touching. I have to wonder what it is about the human condition that has lead us away from our simian ancestors. Let us not masturbate and throw feces in public, but for mankind's sake, touch one another in a friendly non-sexual way every once in a while. It won't kill you. My mission to you is to touch something with texture and follow it up with something soft today.
Have fun!
