Hey SGland!
I just realized these days that I completed 1 month live-streaming to @sgtv teaching Yoga every week!
As I said, here is the blog linking all these classes:
Class 1 - Basic Stretches, adjustments + preventing injuries on Yoga Practice
I worked dividing a full Yoga Practice, teaching parts of it separately in order to focus on teaching the correct way of each movement as long as I'm not being able to see my students. Now, this month I'll start conecting all these fragments to teach how to compose a home practice <3 Yeah, I'm loving the classes!
As I promissed, here I'll leave an explanation of what the word "Yoga" means:
Etymologically speaking, Yoga comes from the verbal sanskrit root yuj, that can assume many conotations like "conjunction of the stars", "magic", "grammatical rule" and others. But when related to Yoga the conotation applied is "to bind together", "to yoke", everything that means like "union". And by union, we can understand that Yoga will unite us with our true self, that is said to be limitless. Yoga can help us conect, unite to this conscience of ours that can see beyond all our limitations and find peace. I'll take a full class to explaing Yoga Philosophy.
More generaly speaking, Yoga is an enourmous body of spiritual values, attitudes, precepts, and techniques that have been developed in India over - at least - five millennia and that may be regarded as the foundation of the Ancient Indian Civilization.
So, If you want to know more about Yoga, every Tuesday, 3pm PST I'm straming Yoga Classes!
Thanks to everyone that has been watching my SGTV lives!
Xoxo,
