Heeey Guys! I’m FINALLY writing this blogpost about my first time at Rock in Rio!
I always wanted to go to Rock In Rio. This year I was upset thinking that I wouldn’t be there again. Suddenly, one of my best friends since childhood - that knows that I’m a huge Iron Maiden fan - sent me a message saying: “Happy Birthday Girl! I got this ticket for you. Go enjoy the best of rock!”. I started crying immediately, because my birthday was the day after Iron Maiden show, and I received the best birthday gift EVER!
Yeap! That’s me 👆🏻 on Rock in Rio! Fist show I enjoyed was Helloween and there was an incredible vibe in the air! I just missed they playing Halloween at this show. When it ended I was nervous waiting for Iron Maiden. I was with my brothers and friends, and a few seconds before the show I decided that I wanted to see my favorite band from a closer position, so I left everybody behind me and started walking into the crowd of thousands of people to get as close as I can to the stage.
GUYS! The show started, and when I first saw them on stage, i started crying SO MUCH! I couldn’t believe I was truly seeing them in front of me! (Just writing this made me wanna cry again lol)
The setlist was incredible and I was able to get so so so close to the stage. When the flames exploded behind them, I could feel my face getting warm because of the fire (literally)! This is definitely an unique sensation in my life. A sensation that I’ll never forget, and already want to feel again.
This Iron Maiden tour is called “The Legacy of the Beast”, and DUDE LOOK AT THIS! They are so performatics and the top moments for me were when Eddie got on stage at “The Trooper” to duel with Bruce, the plane at “Aces High”, to sing the classic “oooooh” with the crowd at “Fear of The Dark”, and my favorite one “The Number of the Beast”, my favorite music, which I got goose bumps so many times!
To end the show, it is unbelievable how it happens but I found my friend who gave me the ticked in the middle of thousands people on the crowd, and we enjoyed the last music “To The Hills” and we sang together and I said “thank you thank you thank you” millions of times to him after this song.
The last show was Scorpions, such an incredible moment too, and before the show I just needed to sit down, take off my boots and drink my cold beer to rest a lil bit. But from where I was sitted I could listen to some cover bands doing awesome, huge quality on their cover.
Soooo, this is how my first time at Rock in Rio was! I got home with my fishnets all destroyed but soooo happy that I could live my dream and with so many good memories about the best night of my life!
Any Iron Maiden fan here? I have a spoiler for you: my next set - already on queue - is called “The Number Of The Beast”!
