My mother died of cancer last January. I miss her terribly. There was so much I wanted to tell her, but never got the chance. Feeling really regretful right now because we had a falling out when she was just starting to get sick.....but I did get to tell her that I loved her two days before her death. I'm not a terribly religious person, but something (other than myself) prompted me to call her and tell her.
If you still have your mother, no matter what shape your relationship is in, try to cherish every moment that she is on this earth with you.

I am going threw my grandpa dieing right now. He was diagnosed with cancer a bit over a year ago and at this point he only has a few days left. luckly over the past year I have been able to visit him twice, once just being a week ago. When iwas there i told him I loved him and he automatically stopped what he was doing and gave me a huge hug and a big smaile. So those things mean a lot to people so just think about how awesome that I love you was to her, becaus eI bet it was pretty fulfilling..
