36 hours.... From Vegas arrival to departure.

I got back to Vegas late on tuesday night. My future LA roomate had a gig DJ-ing at Studio 54 on wednesday. He arrived in true starving artist style: on a greyhound bus in the same clothes he had worn for his gig in Texas the night before.
54 was good as usual, saw the show biz conglomerate,...

Are you back in Vegas now or still in So Cal?

Having my first lazy day in a long time . . . watched 'Shaun of the Dead' with Elisabeth and Stiles this morning, poked around my mixed CD's and I think we are getting ready to have fun playing with metal. I am sure a beer is going to find it's way in to my hand soon too. biggrin

WOW - Mystere!!!! I am not familiar with the story of that show, but it was one of the first soundtracks that I fell in love with (of course you are probably tired of hearing Kalimondo) loltongue

My friend that was in the show was Wes Selleck...but I think he was there about 5 years ago confused

I totally agree with you - "Dralion"...would have been a great experience, but out of all the shows...that one just didn't appeal to me as much as the others. The nice thing is that Cirque invited me to try again when ever I get out of the militarybiggrin

Anywho - what was it like to be apart of such a great show??? You should post some pics of you in costumebiggrin

Kisses kiss kiss

I'm still venturing through alligator country. I popped into an internet cafe today just to check in with the world. It apparently keeps spinning despite my non-participation in it this week. Damn. Thats a shot to the ego. tongue
We've done some cool shite since we've been here and seen some excellent people.
How are the rest of you faring on this sun orbiting marble we...

Folks, feast your focus on five fabulously fiendish feet of feisty, fighting, feminine ferocity!

Yes-sir-ee! Step right up, witness the majestically mystical unemployed wonder! Watch as her bank account dips closer and closer to zero! Standby, spellbound... as she busts her ass, wallowing in her stagnancy, hustling to S T R E T C H those pennies to make those dollars last!
Listen to her...

I love you too. So much!

And looking at these pictures reminds me how hot you are!

Yes, you met the dirty whore, but there is a new girly in my life. This one is really cute and I think she might like a certain person, me, too.

Yippy Skippy!
hapworth:
Ohhhh yeah... I forgot to tell you, join the Las Vegas group if you haven't yet. You'll get in, you are a local yocal!

They plan events once a month or so. Maybe you and I can grace them with our combined presences!

I suppose I'm a bit overdue for an actual introduction, and since my day to day activities are mind numbingly dull this week, I shall bore you now with my abridged life story. Be forewarned, I'm not skilled at brevity. So continue only if your curiosity beckons. wink

I was born in conservative Colorado Springs, a land where the religious right forces its youth into 2...

Here are the results of last nights narcissistic indulgences. A midnight photo adventure in the name of gaudy jewelry. We went with a rock and roll formal wear theme. I made the necklace from Home Depot materials. I likes it. I'm like a small woodland creature, I love shiny objects. Big, gaudy, shiny objects. Mmmm... and there is nothing like a puffy feather boa to...

I want to be a vendor on Venice beach. I was born a performer, and intend to die that way, but who says I can't take an artistic detour? Jewelry.... Thats the key. Heres a confession.... I'm a closet hippie. I can Macrame like a mutha-fucker. Don't believe me? I'll knot your ass under the table! Recently, I've been working with chain. I sure do...

find out the size for the finger you'd be wanting to wear it on and let me know -- those rings are damn easy to make, just a little time-consuming. cost is gonna vary a little depending on what metal you'd want me to use. sterling silver would be about $5 cheaper than fine silver, but if you have any metal allergies then you'd want fine silver. so i'd probably ask for $25-30 depending on the metal. shoot me an email if you're still interested, let me know your size and any other details (for example, i tend to just use my own handwriting for the font since it's easiest but i could probably use a computer font if you really wanted me to, though i'd have to charge more since that would require etching materials most likely; and the ring doesn't necessarily need to say "fuck," i can change it to anything you want.. also i can customize the thickness of the band a little.. etc. just anything you think of.)

I'd love to see some pics, even shoot some.

The Seattle gig has come and gone. I had a costume that kept "malfunctioning" and a bundle of nerves so thick I thought I might puke. 20 minute solo sets..... good lord, and people were actually watching me. I've never left a stage swimming in so much sweat and uncertainty. Adrenaline is a strange thing, it can make you faster and stronger, but apparently it...

Crazy times in Elle-ville. I got this character gig in Seattle on fri the 13th... Its for a party being held in an art gallery.
The provided shite:
1 5x5ft platform
2 go go girls behind me
3 hours of time to fill,
And not a damned clue what I want to do with it. What fun, what stress, what the fuck was I thinking...
