*Drum roll*
My new gig
"KA the unprecedented new theatrical show from Cirque du Soleil at MGM Grand combines acrobatic performances, martial arts, puppetry, multimedia and pyrotechnics to illustrate the nature of duality. It's the epic saga of separated twins who embark on a perilous journey to fulfill their destinies. KA applies the visual vocabulary of cinema to a dazzling live event that is more about storytelling than any previous Cirque du Soleil production."
I've been dying to lift the veil of secrecy, and finally the time has come. (for those of you who already know, please take this opportunity to feign surprise... )
I signed my show contract yesterday, I start training at the theater tomorrow morning. (technically today....)
I've got that nervous sick feeling of new responsibility landing heavily upon my shoulders. (80 contract pages worth...) I'm excited, scared, anticipating a considerable amount of pain and soreness, and ready to 'git down to business.
Cross your fingers for me if you have a couple of spare digits. I've got some serious work ahead of me in the next couple of months. Expect exhaustion and frustration to be the principle themes of my next few entries.
*hugs*
