If only we could somehow merge the best talents of Mathew Broderick and Robert Downey Jr., I believe we'd have one of the best actors of our generation. Both are talented, however, they each lack something that prevents them from being extraordinary. I thought of this recently after seeing both "Short Cuts" and "Ferris Bueler" on TV recently.

Also, I hung out with RDJ about a year ago. They wouldn't let him skip the line and I was up next -- so I told him I'll get him in; I knew people. Ha. I didn't exactly know who he was, but I knew I've seen him on the TV or something. My friends confirmed. I kept asking him if he was that guy with the coke problem and babbling about Harry Connick Jr... but, for whatever reason, he continued to hang out with me and buy me drinks. Evidently my lack of "like, oh my god... you're so like robert downey jr." made him feel comfortable and I tend to scare people away, so nobody bothered us. I just leached on the beers and asked if we could do some cool VIP stuff.
Interesting night that one...
