I made it home with a truckload of bootie (or is it boody, Captain Sparrow), but I did not get to use my gift certificate at the ART DECO STORE in SF. My Mommy (who rocks So hard) got me a $2,000 gift cert for this amazing store. She thought they had ART DECO furniture AND vintage clothes. But, alas, no clothes. Their stuff is GORGEOUS, but what mint ART DECO FURNISHINGS can you buy for under 2k retail in San Fran? I could get a set of lamps or like a staue or a painting. I don't even have my own place! So, I looked lomgingly at his precious items and left. He has two big stores so I may take a trip to his other one or check out his website. If all else fails I may beg him to let me sell and transfer the certificate to someone else so I can buy something practical. He did have a Zebrawood BAR that ROCKED and would be so hot for our photostudio and look great in photosets and in the apartment. I LOVE ART DECO.
Anyway, in other news, my mom was sick so she did do her Axl Rose OR her Stephen Tyler impression for my friends, which I was So looking forward to. The did appreciate he Ozzy shirt and numerous piercings though and the fact that the house is decorated for Halloween all year round. Some people are embarrassed by their Moms, and admittedly, when i was young and uptight, before I smoked some herb, I was too, but now, the quirkier, the better. She's the best. She is a misunderstood comic genius. I just love the way her mind works.

You know, if we just stopped judging everyone and everything, we would have no insecurities about ourselves.
