My mom & I have always been on the opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to my life interests & the way I live which has definitely caused us to fight often. Every tattoo I get causes an uproar as to why I'm "ruining my beautiful body" and recently my mom had found my instagram, which if you follow me, you know I post a lot of photos mothers should never see of their little girls... she didn't even know that I was modeling, let alone doing SG. We haven't really been able to talk about the subject, because we're both in the service industry & are busy bees, but, I did have plans on telling her about what I was doing and am passionate about, but I was waiting to see if i went pink or not. Anyways, I can really tell that she's disappointed in my actions and hates to see me make decisions she thinks I'll regret; she even said she's afraid of me getting hurt, a.k.a. taken advantage of... I just wish she would understand that we're different people, and not get mad at me every time I decide to do something I really like. I can't imagine her face when I tell her I'm going to get my boobs done!!! AH!
I'd like to know other people's personal experiences with their parents and these topics, whether you have tattoos or do any sort of nude modeling, how do deal with your parents opinions? I think it's really rad that some of your parents support you guys! A little jelly to be honest, lol!
