So this is Christmas.
It's been a bizarre week. I was initially excited about having a snow day off of work, but instead I find myself stranded at home. There's too much snow on our local streets for me to drive on (there's a couple of cars stranded in a ditch near the bottom of my hill) and bus service is extremely limited, unless I want to wait over an hour for a bus to show up, another hour for it to trudge through the snow, and to be packed in like a can of sardines while getting to my destination.
There's not much in my neighborhood within walking distance except for a gas station, a Starbucks, and a McDonald's. So I've been stuck home rather than out and about. There's only so much you can do with Video Games and DVDs before you get bored. My computer time is also quite limited, between my mom wanting to stream Netflix, my sister wanting to chat to her friends on Facebook, and me wanting to do whatever, it's been very frustrating.
So I look at the forecast, another 4-8 inches supposed to fall by tomorrow morning, and it's been snowing nearly non-stop since earlier today. By the looks of it, I may have to stay home yet again tomorrow.
Anyways, I just ordered Final Fantasy VII. I lost it many years ago and now I was able to pick it up again. I have a lot of memories of the game and it's nice to have it again. I am really keeping my fingers crossed that the postal service won't have any difficulty climbing up my hill to deliver it. We'll see 3-5 days from now.
