So after some coaxing from the guys I work with I signed up for the Tough Mudder which is a twelve mile obstacle course at the English town raceway in New Jersey. The event was yesterday and it consisted of jumping in to a dumpster filled with ice, swimming in a freezing lake three different times, running, climbing walls, jumping up a half pipe, wading in a half mile of mud which was ankle to waist deep, running through a fire pit, climbing under barb wire (a la boot camp) climbing under/over logs and running through electric wire (and yes it shocks the shit out of you). I finished in a little over 4 hours. They are supporters of the wounded warriors so it was for a good cause. I didn't walk away unscathed, I have bruises all over my body and even my fingers are sore. It feel good to accomplish it but Im gonna be hurting all week at work. I will post pictures of my injuries!
