the reason i asked about the crofton thing is because my company which is really small has a office in the waugh chapel shoppin center we only have 3 rehab centers and i work there sometimes just wanted to know if u know where it is and all that

The WHFS thing saddens me as well.

My last Cure show was there, and it was the first time I'd seen Offspring. Hell, I remember seeing INXS there years and years ago. It would be hard not to remember my High School years being accompanied by HFS's broadcasts of The Violent Femmes, Siousxie and the Banshees, Sisters Of Mercy, Cure, Depeche Mode, They Might Be Giants, Erasure, David Bowie, and so many others.

It has changed with the times, but still remained one of the coolest things going in our area in my humble opinion.

The next HFStival would have to be Mariachi bands in their current format...

This whole thing just seems wrong.

I cant fucking believe HFS is gone. There is a petition circulating online somewheres. That was my all time fav radio station, eventhough they overplayed the shit out of everything. Plus i loooooved the HFStivals.

ok mars volta is pretty damn good. i actually heard of them through my friend dave and carl- they are drummers and well the drummer from mars volta is unspeakably good. then i heard "the widow" on the radio (first time i turned the radio on ages) but def look into other stuff my them.....

If you want to go on a week long bender, you can come drink with me up in the EC. I don't have a job really (I haven't called to say I want to work during break yet, and can hold off doing so ), so I can drink all day with little or no consequences. It would be awesome. We could drown our troubles in copious amounts of booze. I could lament about Martine, Megan, and Heather, in order to compete with your comiseration. Although my relationship stuff is mainly petty bullshit that is caused by me liking girl who don't have much in common with me. I am going to be back in Maryland tomorrow night, and if you wanted to do some heavy drinking, we could start bright and early wednesday morning. My heavy drinking friend left for college already, so I need to kee-p up the partying I did with him while he was still home.

Why am I so closet emo? Because my anti-emo idol (Matt from the Venkmans) broke up with his girlfriend (actually she broke up with him), and he turned into the most emo piece of shit I ever met. I was so sad. He was my role model. At least his self-depreciating humor helped him keep the respect I had for him.

If you want to come, that would be cool. I am not sure what's going on yet. I still have to see who is up for what, and what time everyone is available (It's mainly to catch up with people from HS while still on break.), and ask my mom if I can have a bunch of people over. Im thinking it's going to be a sort of dinner/hot tub bash. I need to get home first, and talk to some people before etching anything in stone.
