Your story reminds me about something my ex and I were remembering over dinner the other day, we had this friend that we loved to pieces and one night we asked if she wanted to some back to our place for a few drinks after some party or something.
Him and I are sitting there on the couch and she's sitting across from us and we're chilling listening to music and suddenly she bursts out "you're not trying to have a threesome with me are you?"
We were totally stunned because even though she is hot and fun and we love her, the thought hadn't crossed our minds and here she was all nervous thinking we were trying to put the moves on her, lol.
Maybe they were worried you were going to try to seduce them into your swinger lifestyle and do weird, kinky, dirty things to them that they would have to admit they liked.

Happy news: got my second tattoo today. Absolutely adore it. Yes, I can feel an addiction coming on...
Sad news: my first tattoo is scabbing (in the middle) a little more than my tattoo artist would like to see, and he thinks that I'll have to go in to get a touch-up.
Hopefully it'll heal up soon so that we can tell for sure.
