The Surprise
So the big surprise was my Mom!!! Hehe. She flew in from Vancouver on Friday night and she just randomly showed up in a restaurant we were having dinner in. I was so happy I actually cried. I'm such a dork. (Momma's girl!) I hadn't seen her in a few months, and she and I are really close so I had been missing her terribly as of late. I could not have asked for a better "surprise".
The Love Life
Things are actually going really well with the boy and I... First time in a long time we both seem really happy and fairly content. It's nice. Kinda keeps me thinking positive. (I don't think it hurts that we were apart for two weeks, or that we'll be on a beach in the sunshine in 12 days.
)
The Tattoo:
Neck tattoo scabs have FINALLY fallen off... Now it's all flaky and itchy, but I think that's normal healing so I don't mind at all. It's a little faded but overall not as horrible as I thought it would be. I'll go get it touched up in April sometime.
Not having any issues with my little stars, and they're just about a week old now. Hurrah.
Finally watched "The Secret" (my Mom actually asked me to watch it with her while she was here.) Some of it seemed a little far-fetched to me, but overall I really like the idea that positivity/positive thinking can bring you the things you want in life. I've decided to start an 'I Want' art journal (not just words but pictures and whatnot as well) based on the whole theory. Can't hurt to try, right?
