okay, now how about that for a gloom-and-doom journal entry?
people, war is not the answer. get that through the skulls you borrowed from the cro-mags.

well, i am feeling a little bit better about what went down on election day, since i can tell you that i am working on PLAN A and PLAN B.
PLAN A
there's nothing that forces you to work more than the notion that you have a gun to your back, right? and if you've seen the pictures on the right-wing answer to sorry everybody, we're not sorry, you'll see quick that bush's supporters sure like their guns.
my mom was pregnant with me at marietta college in marietta, ohio, a small town on the banks of the ohio river just across from west virginia. around the time she was bringing me to term, those four students were killed by nixon in nearby kent state, a state-sanctioned atrocity gerard v. casale revealed on this site as the inspiration for DEVO. i feel i was born with an innate understanding of the willingness of our government to turn its guns on its own people. and i'm sure that day will come at some point in the next four years.
for me, though, i'm all about sedition and riling people up. that's what i do best. and i like to create games when i can. so i figure that if i can continue on my path and create things that push people's buttons, then that's my job. remember that it's not about protesting what is bad, but about creating what is good.
i think we have the power to do this, still, in our country, to make it anything we want it to be. i draw your attention to fela kuti and the kalakuta nation he formed within nigeria as a creative corrective to the military dictatorship. i ain't fela yet, but goddamnit, someone better try.
so i'm a make my books. expect a play, one which i'm gonna pour a fair amount of time and money into. and we'll make this work here in l.a. or at least, i'll bust my ass trying.
PLAN B
So i have a buddy who holds a potluck for the psychedelic community here every month. this month was the first month after the elections that we had it. and as we talked about aminita muscaria and its possible role as catalyst for the myth of santa claus, she mentioned that if the shit really hit the fan, we're all gonna high-tail it to costa rica.
there's a commune there, see, and actually, one of the people i camped next to at bm's already there. she quit her job as a lawyer the minute bush got his crown and drove down there on a veggie-powered bus. they've got land there, and they're making bio-diesel as we speak. so that's where i'm going, people.
if you've ever read ray bradbury's "and the rock cried out," you'll sense that it may not be the easiest thing to be white and making it through the wilderness should civilization crumble around us. well, it'll be an adventure, for sure. and it's plan b for me.
with any luck, it won't come to that. but it's always good to plan for contingencies.

I like that album allot but the one I have been listening to more is called Something always goes wrong, my favorite song on it is called The S.O.S. , I think, my friend burned the cd so I had to look it up. only when I looked it up the album has something like 19 songs on it and the cd I have has 15 so I gotta find out if she threw extraa songs on it or not.
i like your entry... its good to see other thinkers and to read what they have to say... it seems the psy folk around the world all have their own little ideals and dreams of moving to little communes... i think i will when im older, or on my travels... mmm , but first id like to do as much good for the world as possible b4 giving it up to live a life away from society... if that makes sense.
