ugh.
yeah, verily, this is what i have to say to thee and thine.
some of thee have noted duly that i have yet to embark on the festivities i have detailed on thee last journal entry. let me count the things keeping me from doing this:
- a 30-hr/week job.
- an increasingly vestigial music journalism sideline.
- a planned dance/movement night i shall be organizing and arranging at abundant sugar in the brewery arts complex in july. i'll be featuring performers in butoh, capoiera, belly dance as well as (fingers crossed) one of my favorite choreographers and dancers in the city, Suze Q.
-appliance shopping for the Satellite Of Love.
- my newest book, a bedtime story, which is coming together slowly, but wonderfully.
-two costumes: the Universal Traveler and El Toro, a rainbow camo and matador uniform.
These last two pieces will hopefully be done for Burning Man.
This has kept me from participating in the fun and antics that is SG.
So do go ahead and hate me. But I will be also resizing photos from last week's trip to Arizona to visit my amazing friend, mizu desierto, who lives on 200 secluded acres. another SG member who many of us know turns out to be an old, close buddy of hers, as it turns out, but that's another story.
"Who Am I?" is important to me, as I intend it to be a valuable experiment, but organization is very, very important for me right now in my life, as is prioritization, so it shall have to wait. believe me, when I start to do it, you shall all be quite aware.
yes, that's a new profile pic of me consecrating mizu's dance studio. yes, i suck at photoshop. But let me tell you, the day I took that was truly magical. so things are very exciting right now for me. i hope you are all as intent on living your adventure as I am.
