I got to L.A. around 5pm. Took a short nap, figured I'd spend the evening wandering Chinatown. On my way to dinner, I discovered that Chinatown's retail element shuts down around 6pm on a Saturday. You've let me down, L.A.
Not a big deal. I'm pretty tired anyway: Driving wears me out.
That said, the roast pork I had for dinner at this BBQ place was excellent. The steamed dumplings were "eh", and came after I was pretty much done with the meal. Some appetizer. Still, no complaints. One thing that I don't see on the actual takeout menu, but that was on the menu over the takeout counter, was that the place seems to sell a whole roasted large pig for $188. (Medium is only $168). I don't believe I've seen that on a menu before.

yuck....I SO could have done without the entire roast pig image... (though I'm probably in the minority there).
So when is the appt?
