So I got my early Xmas present: My dad chipped in, and I have a fully-legal (educationally priced) copy of Adobe CS4! 
Of course, as soon as I installed it, I discovered that the pen of my graphics tablet was broken. So I ordered another. Then it occured to me that I should try to fix my current one, but I couldn't figure out how to get it open, so a good friend of mine suggested banging it on the table. That worked.
So there you have it: Violence is the answer, and should probably be tried first.
To celebrate, I offer you this utterly half-assed doodle of this confused-looking.... thing, done in Photoshop.
