After a blah day of siting around feeling vaguely lonely/sorry for myself, I went to the CD release show for Solar Powered People, a local band that's actually pretty good.
Opening for them was an electronic band callsed, SaucyBoy that was okay, but small electronic shows are weird in that they're pretty much a couple of guys sitting in front of Macbooks for 40 mins. These guys had a projector with clips of 80's movies. So, uh, yeah. Solar Powered People put on a good show!
So I'm in an okay mood for the moment. Didn't meet anybody new or anything, but I didn't expect to. I expected to go to a live show and enjoy some music, and hey, I did. W00t!
