So I have a lot of very serious, not so fun topics that have been rolling around in my head for a while, but I just feel like posting something lighthearted and fun.
I have exactly one photo that has hung in every place I've lived for the past 22 years. I bought it from a street vendor in Iraq, for I think $5, and it hung above my cot for the duration of my deployment. It followed me back home, and hung in my barracks room at Fort Campbell, and everywhere I've lived in Ohio, since. It currently hangs right next to my Honorable Discharge from the Army, and just above my graduation Jump Wings from Airborne School.
Turns out I don't have a picture of it hanging in Iraq, but I do have a picture of the room it was in ๐
If I had to describe up my personality with a picture, I think this one would be close to perfect ๐
I'd love to hear what other people's cherished pictures, knick-knacks, or art work are, so I'm going to tag a few people. Some I know pretty well, some not-so-well, and some not really at all.
So @olgakulaga @amoxi @adam_bovary @headshot @samihain @richsquared @helainked
What little treasures do you bring with you everywhere you go? How long have you had it? Is there a story?
And if you're reading this, but weren't tagged? Participate! Post your own item, and tag people ๐๐๐'๐ like to hear from. Hell, tag me, I like learning about new people ๐
P.S.- Yes, the banner does say "Happy Weiner". I made it from a "Happy New Year" sign. I offer no apologies or explanations ๐
