Horace Clark was a good player - not a hall of famer, or even an all-star, but a good player. He played, during an era when the Yankees were terrible. i believe, due to his unique name, a lot of writers have called it, "The Horace Clark years", or "The Horace Clark Yankees" His name is synonymous, with failure.
