My week of physical masochism:
Yesterday - Last workout with a friend who is shipping out this week: arms, chest, back.
Today - 0600 60lb. pack hike, 8 miles.
Tuesday - 0700 2.5 mile run, 1600 workout with CO.
Wednesday - 0530 PT: 3 mile run, chinups, abdominals.
Thursday - 5 mile run.
Friday - YOGA.
Saturday - 0800 5k race, in formation.
So far, my feet are bloody from new boots and the hump this morning, but there are few things as beautiful as going from total darkness in the mud and cold to coming up over the top of a hill in the forest as the sun breaks. I feel like a million blistered fucking dollas.
