72 hours to split between three families for Thanksgiving isn't exactly the easiest situation, especially when one of those families hates the rest. Joy. Fortunately, I, like a cheesecake, can be divided, even if some people don't get as much as they'd like.

Given the horrible excuse for a person my mom is, however, I'm almost inclined to come back to Athens Thursday and help out with delivering food to some needy families on the holiday. At what point does a strange family become more important than my own?

I have a sneaking suspicion that sleep is a good thing. It's too cold out to run, a bit too late, and my big warm bed and P.J. Harvey are calling my name....
