So I have a very busy day ahead of me, and strangely enough, it doesn't involve Guerilla Activity for once.... I haven't been able to get ahold of Ben in forever, and I'm wondering what's going on with him as usually he is more involved and much easier to get ahold of. Hope all is well, but I may have to swing over to his house at some point today to see him face to face as he doesn't appear to have logged into either his account or the band's account in about half a week and he doesn't have a phone. He does use his girlfriend's phone, but they're constantly off and on so half of the time he doesn't even have one at all.
It's 8 in the morning right now as Becca just left and I couldn't get back to sleep. I'm hopefully going to be able to get back to sleep and sleep until about 10am. I then have to meet my dad at 11am (possibly with my brother, whom I hope I can get to come) for lunch and to get some money from him, then I have a manager meeting to go to at work from 3-4, and then I have band practice with Cody's band from 6-8:30pm that's going to be w/ Cody & Tim so I'm not sure where it's going to be, but it'll probably be Sacket's which is a half hour drive, I have to clean my mouse's cage and I want to go to the movies to see Iron Man afterwards.... So yeah, that's my day for day. Definitely manageable, but I'm not going to have much alone time which kinda sucks.
Yesterday I went to th Syracuse mall with Becca. I ended up getting a $50+ book on 3D Programming, and another book on Java programming. I finally got the 3D programming installed on this computer (my Mac) and then it can't even run the 3D programming, so it was worthless to install to begin with. I then got it installed on my desktop (using Windows to make it easier), and the first examples of 3D code that it gives me errors out!!! I went to the next example, and it gives me the same error a similar command! I wonder if it's the platform (although it was written for Windows), or perhaps it's the installation location???? I'm going to try moving some files around, but I'll probably just end up doing it in Linux and seeing if it works there.....
As for the Java book..... it's based off of Jbuilder 2005, which is no longer available, and only Jbuilder 2007 & 2008 are available now. It's nothing like it was back in 2005 and it basically makes the book unusable. I have to basically find out how to make a .java file while the default wizard (which is nowhere close to the one in the book) has me editing .jar files...... Augh, both of the books are really annoying!!!!! I do love tinkering and trying to figure out computer stuff however, so I am totally up for the challenge!!!!
I randomly bought a Penguins jersey this morning too. It was over $100, and something that I definitely shouldn't have bought considering how long it's been such I watched hockey, but I found out the other day that they're in the finals, so it peaked my interest. I have the games set to record on my DVR, and I will be supporting my favorite team in their endeavors in the finals. Go Penguins!!!
