yup.. i haven't updated my sg journal for a while. i haven't done much of anything for a while.
so... it's the 4th of july. yay for that! ozzfest is today, couldn't pay me to be there.
i've been listening to every billie holiday cd i have for days on end. it's making me mentally live in another time. billie is so smooooooooth.

i'm desperate for violent femmes tickets but am totally broke. i'm hoping they are not sold out by my next pay check which is only two days before the show. i haven't seen the violent femmes since nineteen eightysomething and i so would do just about anything to go.
i've decided to apply for a new position at work, 'clinical millieu coordinator'. that sounds very fancy doesn't it? it's a puffed up job title for assistant program director.. but the clinical millieu thing does sound posh. i have to compose a letter of intent and say how qualifed and wonderful i am and what a fantastic job i would do. i hate to write these things. when will everyone on earth realize that it's just better to sit back and let me run the world?
big plans are in the works for my birthday and i'm excited over that. a friend of mine is organizing it for me and it's going to be very fun. she is also getting me the most amazing birthday present! she's having my very own st andrew's cross built for me and that is just too cool for words. it won't actually fit in my little studio cottage type house, but i have a friend who is more than willing to store it and use it at his house until i have a larger place. it's going to be a bdsm play party and we're going to have black balloon boquets and white cake with lemon stuff. how nice how nice how nice! i'm always excited for any opportune occasion to wear a tiara.
it's been raining here a lot.. crazy.. middle of the dessert and all. it's early for monsoon season so i'm kind of afraid to see what it will be doing in august when it's actually supposed to be raining. i love the thunder storms and lightening. it's really beautiful over the mountains. now i just have to remember to turn off the fan in my window when i go out so i won't come home to a rain storm soaked bed again.
see? i told you not much of anything interesting is going on right now. all stuff that will be happening later.

ha ha - sounds cool - yeah, ive seen 3 of them and will see three more I hope - theyre pretty good.
