In other news, I still can't get over the fact that my job right now consists of sitting around and reading some of the greatest books ever written, and then talking to really smart people about what I think. My life is so awesome.

It's kind of fascinating to meet the people that your friends wanna set you up with. Because this guy, I would have broken. I mean, he was nice and all, but he didn't stand a chance. Ah well. Somewhere out there is a goldfish for me. Maybe. Hopefully.

yeah well im one of those nice guys that knows how to stand up and fight back (both physically and mentally) when needed, has a sweet job, decent social life, and everything else going for me... but i can only be an asshole to people i actually hate. thus i always finish last when it comes to finding a chick to stick around longer than 2-3 dates, despite always showing them a helluva good time whatever best thing for me is to go back to ma playa playa ways and forget about that foreign concept of relationships *puts pimp hat back on*

I just read Beckett's Molloy cover to cover. If you have 6 hours or so to spare, I highly recommend it. It's definitely a work that needs to be read all at once.

Procrastinating by doing other work instead is quite satisfying. Because even though I haven't prepared my lecture for tommorrow, or studied for my Russian midterm, I still feel damn good about life....
