So when the phone rang for the 6th time I answered it. He was all, "So are we getting together or what?" I told him to relax and that this calling 5 times business was out of control. He was all, "Ok, it's cool, I'm not in a rush." I told him that I find it rather disturbing that he was trying that hard to get ahold of me when he barely even knows me. He got a bit offended and was like "Fine then I won't call you anymore. Fine." And I told him I think that's probably a good idea. And to have a good night. He hasn't called since, so I think that's the end of that story. Oddly enough, while most of me is relieved and thinks that this guy must have a few screws loose, part of me feels somewhat guilty, like I'm being unreasonable or something. Here I am bitching about people who don't answer the phone or return your calls and next things I know I'm bitching about a dude who bends over backwards trying to get ahold of me. When did I catch that awful gypsy curse of getting what you wish for? This is getting ridiculous. I gotta get better at wishing, because it's been backfiring like a motherfucker.

In other news, I came home today to find my beloved pet fish floating upside down at the top of the bowl. I cried for about half an hour and then be_elzebe called and cheered me up. Then Jonathan came over and drank some whiskey and helped me bury him. The ground outside proved too icy for burial, so he now sleeps his eternal slumber amongst the roots of one of my houseplants. R.I.P. Miron. You were a good fish.
