See, a few nights sleep and suddenly all is well...or better anyway! lol Vanny now has two possible job opportunites. He found a job that he is almost over qualified for that pays a LOT more than this last job he had...almost double actually...so he's going to send his resume to them today...and then this woman came into his work today and they got to talking and Vanny mentioned he was laid off and that this was his last week and she said she would get him a job. She has a son that works in the human resources dept. of Nissan and they are apparently in need of IT people. She gave him her contact info and he is going to get her his resume today so she can give it to her son. So YAY! Nothing in stone yet, but the Nissan opportunity is looking very promising...not sure what the pay is yet, but I would imagine it will be atleast what he's making now..if not more..so YAY, YAY, YAY!! And other than that, not much going on...

Vanny's ex is still being a bitch from hell...the monthly schedule I set up isn't working for her...because I set it up...so she is going to make one herself...I'm curious when this will happen folks...she said we can go by mine until she comes up with one...anyway, mine is that we have the kids Tues, and Thurs night and every other weekend and that she has them Mon, and Wed night and every other weekend...I don't see what she can do to it really to make it any more fair...but she has it in her mind that she is still getting the kids most of the time...even though this past weekend was her weekend and we took the kids for a good 4 hours Saturday AND yesterday was her night and I kept the youngest for...gee...another 4 hours...so I don't really see what she's saying really...I mean, on our nights and weekends we NEVER call her and ask her to watch the kids...okay, here is what she is basing all this on...she wanted to swap kid weekends because the guy she was dating had kids on the weekends she didnt'...so basically what that meant was she would have the kids two weekends in a row...well, the Thursday night before her second weekend, she decided she didn't want to swap weekends and that we needed to take the kids...the only problem is we had already made plans...we ended up splitting the weekend with her...we took them Saturday evening and kept them through Monday morning...so technically we had them half the weekend but she saw that Friday and Saturday morning as doing us a favor and watching the kids on our weekend...never mind the fact that SHE was the one that wnated to swap weekends to begin with...so because of that one incident she now has the kids "all the time" and has been dropping them off on us on her nights and weekends...happy, happy, joy, joy...and it's not a big deal if we don't have plans...but now we're almost scared to even MAKE any plans because we never know when she's going to have some dire circumstance and need us to watch the kids...on her nights!! She also wanted us to watch the kids this Sunday too...but Vanny put his foot down on that one...she said she wanted to visit a friend in the hospital...she was going to leave the oldest at home, drop the youngest off at her freind's house and wanted us to watch the middle child...Vanny pointed out that hospitals allow kids inside! lol Besides, the middle child is 10 yrs old..it's not like he's 3 and into everything! She hung up on him...and 5 mins later Vanny called back to see what was going on and she said she was taking the kids fishing...so basically what it boils down to is she wanted some alone time with her boyfriend....and when they realized they weren't going to get it they decided to just take them all fishing...gotta love that woman...sigh...for me it's not whether we have the kids or not...it's just not knowing WHEN...I like to be able to make plans...in ADVANCE! I can't live my life around HER schedule..it's like she thinks everyone's lives revolve around her...she makes plans and expects everyone else to drop everything so she can carry them out...and I'm tired of it! She's gotta learn that other people have lives too! Anyway, that's the end of my rant...I gotta go hop in the shower..we are having guests over tonight...and yes...we are having kids too...guests and kids..kids and guests..don't you wish you had my life?!?! LOL



A girlfriend and Vandilous are fucking right now...and I'm drunk...hmmmmmm.....this is their third time...should I join in? I just dont feel like it though...I just want to hang out right now...I wish I were in NOLA..so I could just walk the streets of NOLA at midnight...that would be nice....
