Well, today is MUCH better! I'm feeling MUCH better! I actually got out of bed at 6am instead of sleeping until noon and have gotten the house cleaned up and the laundry going because of that. I feel invigorated and refreshed! Now I think I'm going to curl up with my current read "The Vapire Lestat" and enjoy my alone time!


Well, my fingers are now white. My step daughter spilled a bottle of foundation in the bathroom and didn't bother to tell me...foundation is not easy to get up once it dries, so I scrubbed the bathroom vanity, cabinets and floor for like 20 mins before I finally got it all up. THEN I found the clothes she had been wearing when she spilled it apparently..the shirt was white and brand new..never worn..so it will have to be dyed black obviously..thank god it's cotton! The pants are black clubbing pants..MY black clubbing pants..so I soaked them in oxy clean real good and scrubbed them and then put them through the stain treat cycle...no good..still stained, so I manually put oxy clean on each individual stain and with my finger nails scrubbed each stain as many times as neccessary going over it after scrubbing with a paper towl to absorb the foundation out of the pants until my fingers where white with oxidation, sore and stiff from scrubbing, the entire paper towel was brown with foundation, and I had gone through half a bottle of oxy clean..these are nice pants folks..really nice pants and I have every intention of wearing them again so yes..it was worth it..but I am definitely going to explain to her how putting on her make-up BEFORE she gets dressed is essential! Kids!

Well, so much for my alone time...Vandilous just called and said we were having guests over tonight. Damn it! And I was all in my hermit mode! I had a productive day and I was looking forward to just staying at home and doing nothing but relaxing in the cleanliness of it all..and now I have to put on make-up and get dressed damn it..I don't wanna! Guess I better get going...and make myself a stout beverage..I'm gonna need it in order to be social today....
