Well I applied to the Academy of Hair today and I am so excited! I actually cut my step-son's hair the other day...my very first time to put scissors to hair...and it really didn't turn out too bad...I figured I had watched people cut hair enough to do a somewhat decent job..holding the scissors in one hand and the hair in the other was a little awkward...and I did cut his cow lick a little too short...that's where I started out for some reason, and I ALWAYS make a mistake when I first start an artistic project...without fail...but it was certainly better than the time Vanny cut his hair! LOL Poor thing had to wear a hat to school! LMAO Anywho, but apparently a new class starts every two weeks, so once my application goes through and my pell grant gets issued I should be able to start...or atleast within two weeks of that. I can't wait! I've been wanting to learn to cut hair for YEARS!!! It will save so much money where the kids are concerned! And if I didn't do a bad job without any schooling at all, I should be able to pick up on it pretty quickly...YAY!!! It's in my blud..hehehe...hey, my mom taught herself to cut hair...she cut my dad's hair and mine...and the whole damn family for that matter...for years...she won't touch my current hair style though...hehehe...I don't blame her! LOL But I dont' think I've been this anxious to get back in school in a long, LONG time...
