Well, it is the end of a long day and I am pooped! We've had the kids all month now, and it doesn't look like their mom is planning on taking them any time soon either. This was supposed to be her weekend, but she has needless to say been unreachable by phone. This does not suprise me. You know, it really doesn't bother me either, except that she legally has custody of the kids, which means we have to stay here...in the land of nothingness and desolation. If we could just move somewhere else, Vanny could get a MUCH better job and we could all live more comfortably. Mississippi is not exactly the best place to live if you want to have money. I would soooooo love to move to Baton Rouge or New Orleans....or somewhere in that area anyway.
On a different note....my 12 yr old step daughter is really talented! I mean, okay...she's in all advanced classes right now, so it's not like I'm should be real suprised, but still......her artwork is amazing! I'm just amazed that she is doing as well as she is for being so young! Here are two of her recent drawings! Can you believe this is the work of a 12 yr old child?
She's like a little genius! And I'm being serious too! She's in all advanced classes and she actually finds it boring. We're looking into putting her into a prep school or something that will better challenge her. She can build websites and even tackled Vandilous' palm pilot today...I mean, after having it for like 15 mins she was helping us program our budget into the damn thing! Vanny is a genius though..and I'm being serious...he really is..so it's not too suprising...but it just amazes me...to see a young mind able to do so much that much older minds couldn't even think to be able to do. Yes...I'm a proud step-mother...what can I say?

when i started school i had missed kindergarten and they put me in the LD classes. then in 3rd grade they put me in normal classes cause they realized i wasn't retarded just
