McGill University Library has the largest three-hole punch I have ever seen. The thing is massive and from what I can tell, it's made out of rough-hewn lumber and square, drop-forged nails. To operate, it takes three strong oarsmen wearing leather tunics throwing their backs into it. That's only to punch six regular typing sheets!

Wandering back towards the washrooms, one is also confronted with the very distinctly unmistakable smell of mimeographs. For a moment, I was breathing in deep and feeling very third grade again (not to give away my age there).

Never before was I afraid of what the "Life Sciences" department uses in their x-ray room...
