A week ago set whispered myths I shot for @ksew finally came out! And it raised my mood a lot, cause, yes, I am not pink and probably they ain't gonna make me one, but my model is pink, she went pink not from my set but to the moment my was released she already was pink😜 It's already at least something! Also I always believed in her, @ksew is beautiful with very spiritual beauty, of a person who's been through a lot and has life inside, and also she is a very hardworking and passionate person. I am also thankful to her a lot for digging my work and supporting it for long time already. Here is a little backstage and behind the scenes of this set). Those few photos I attached are self-shot on timer, there were only 2 of us.
As soon as I bought tickets to Moscow last spring, we made arrangement with Ksew that she will come and we will shoot a fantasy set in a forest! We were super stoked, just worried about the weather, cause it was April. Every day we were trying to guess, will we freeze, will be get wet, or both together? We were discussing the style, the outfit, especially shoes. And I suggested that Ksew wears some boots, but she said: "No, elves don't wear shoes!" And I was worried! Cause I always prioritise health and safety of my models. But if model wants so... OK, let's do it!
2 days before the shooting I went to buy elven ears. I enter the cosplay shop and call Ksew: "Here are 2 sets of ears, which one for you? Bigger or smaller? Also they are a bit different color..." She said: "Let's take both and decide when we are all set!" - "Fine, then I'll leave 1 set for myself after the shooting!"
On the day of shooting there was a little rain in the morning, but it didn't really make everything wet. And still I suggested that when Ksew will pose laying on the ground we should use a blanket, cause also she is afraid of worms. We didn't have blanket as for neither of us Moscow is a home city. So as soon as Ksew arrived we met in a trading center closest to the forest in which we planned the shooting and started searching for a cheap and nice blanket that would fit.
Ksew went to the second floor and I on the ground floor. And when I saw this gradient pink-to-blue soft blanket, I fell in love! It looks like the sky turning from sunset to dusk. And I immediately suggest we take it. Now Ksew keeps it)
When we entered the forest and found a perfect spot, it was already not wet and not cold and even sun was showing up from time to time. Ksew took off her shoes and I felt like... well, I don't feel comfortable if model is barefoot and I am wearing heavy boots. So I took them off also and stayed in just jeans and t-shirt for the shooting, barefoot. Now the main thing was to make sure our boots and jackets are not in the frame of pictures)
When we started shooting, Ksew was standing near the bush and suddenly something on the ground attracted her attention. She found a skull! Of an animal. We don't know for sure which one, but it seems like it belonged to a cat. And I said: "Coooool! Take it and pose with it for a couple of shots, it will bring something from Hamlet into our set!" And it is the spontaneous detail I love the most about out set really!
I kept the skull) And now it is part of my interior and I will further use it for art and inspiration)
After we were done with the main set, I decided to undress too so we can take a few selfies together and I asked Ksew also to make me a few quick shots in the pond that was nearby. Here is one of them) I also made her a few shots in the pond, I didn't edit them yet, but I remember about them) There is a thing with creating - once you start, you always want to create more, especially if you find the right people!
So now you know how masterpieces are done😜 Enjoy the set whispered myths and this little "behind the scenes" I shared with you! Much love!
