While protests in Belarus are going on, in Russia the leader of opposition, Alexey Navalny, was poisoned, obviously on political reasons. Fortunately, he is out of coma and is receiving treatment in hospital in Germany. But it was an attemp to kill him. And there are still not much protests in Russia. There are some demos, but very small ones.

Navalny is the only seroius oppositionary candidate we have now. Another one, Boris Nemtsov, was shot on the street a few years ago.
