So I decided to tell about every set I find here that impressed me. I choose them according to my personal taste. I absolutely prefer outdoor sets. And if the set is shot in some kind of public place (not simply deep in the forest) then it's 99 percent I would pay attention on it, cause it takes to be brave to make such a set, and I adore that. Of course sets indoors can be impressive too - it depends on which indoor is it. "Mind your surroundigs". Also it depends on play of light and shadows on the photos - it is super-important for me. And of course, the message (how clear is what the creators wanted to show). I will not right about "white wall, gray sofa, no plot, no meaning" sets, no matter how beautifull and charismatic the girl is. As a photographer I know, that every person can be shot nicely, can be shot poorly or can be shot trivially. And trivially is even worse, then poorly. So I will write about the sets, which are obviously not trivial.
The set, that captured my attention a few month ago (I remembered it and found it again thanks to my good memory) - Stop on the roadtrip by @redkaya. Only much later, reading her blog, I realised, that she is russian as well as me. But the set features hippie aesthetics from 60-70-th, which was mostly common in USA and UK - so I assumed she is from one of those countries! The played the role very well, this style fits her, and the decorations are flawless. Such van is even hard to find, I can imagine, how many efforts it took. It is the case, when people were thinking before shooting, and, IMHO, it is what SG sets absolutely MUST have. This set has absolutely not enough likes for it's quality.
The model is here for long already and she has a lot of sets in MR, the other good set by her is biking (but "Stop on the roadtrip is better"). The good thing is both those sets are kinda new and they have yet a chance to become SotDs. "Biking" has more likes, but it is much more simple and, I'd say, more glamorous. But the athmosphere is almost similar - retro, hippie, rock-n-roll, freedom, pin-up. I would make both SotDs, but if only one could do, I'd choose "Stop on the roadtrip". Also the color correction here is nicer. I suppose it will become SotD after some time, it would be ridiculous if it won't.
