I'm not ready for this show on Saturday. I have an idea for some audience participation. Copper pads with leads extending from one of my creations will be set in the audience on opposing sides of the room. My wish is to get the entire audience to join hands. Two people on opposite sides of the room will then touch the copper, changing the resistence of the the modified toy, and thus affecting the pitch of the sound. Hopefully, I'll have this little project finished. Here's a link to the toy I'll be using. It's being played by Tommy of the band Brother's Past. This little glowing box was the guts of a stuffed animal called "Squirt"...a little turtle from the movie "Finding Nemo". It got a 2.5 meg potentiometer, a 1/4" out for the amp, 3 body contacts for quick pitch shifting, and a trigger button for the little sayings.
