I don't do things the right way. Or the wrong way.
I do them my way. Always have. Always will.
It's funny how people who think they know me still don't seem to understand that.
People still get so upset by things I say or do, like... it wasn't expected, or I didn't just do what I said I was gonna do.
It's like, look - I don't beat around the bush. I tell you how it is. And if I tell you that I'm going to be a certain way.. and then I AM... and you're upset by it. I don't get that.
Or if I speak using a specific type of language and that somehow offends you, that you think that I'm going to change. Despite the fact that I've always spoken like that around you, and you just now want to get upset about it.
Essentially what I hate is that people seem to think that Respect is a one way street. That for me to respect you and your ways that I have to cover up or change mine around you or other people.
Fuck
That.
Respect is knowing our differences and accepting each other for it. Don't' tell me to watch what I say in public like I embarrass you. Don't tell me I can't say certain things in your presence like it oppresses you. I wouldn't do that to you. That's how respect works.
