first of all, id like to start this entry by proclaiming that through last nights shocking wave of tears, i have made an evolutionary leap forward in my attempted reincarnation of my former, more desirable, self. allowing such emotions to overrun my mind throughout the night gave me a mental clarity today that has been more than rewarding. the intuitive and intellectual side that i once took much pride in was sheltered behind years of depressing and traumatic events, to include being trained to be a mindless slave for the government. the irony now lies in that the uncovering of this part of me has been earthed by a depressing and traumatic event that was sparked by the trained mindless slave i was. that, in itself, is a rather entertaining thought.
my internet is back up and running, so pictures are definitely to be included this time around. pictures from the past few days, so this may turn into an epic entry.
for those of you who keep on my writing and other wild minded rantings, you know that i have begun my OFFICIAL treatment through the VA, which i am actually really excited about. the thought that there is a future for me among this world, that of all the people that couldnt understand parts of my past, i will now be able to discuss in detail and share with others who do understand, is a very relieving feeling. as per the VA itself, well it physically proved to be much more than i thought it would. there was much natural beauty in the area, including on my drive to there, considering it through downtown houston.
a nice shot of the city, for those who like skyscrapers. i find the engineering aspect of them, as well as the architectual, to be breathtaking sometimes.
theres actually a parts of downtown that decently mixed between mechanical creation and natural life. shame you really couldnt see this park as i was on an elevated highway portion.
my walk into the VA hospital. it was suprisingly nice. there was a little park and outdoor activities, and as you can see, a good amount of trees, which are nice. right behind these trees is actually the six story VA hospital.
pidgeons riddled the courtyard, giving the place the steroetypical image of old people feeding birds, and watching them fluff up and bully each other around for territory. the pidgeons that is... not the old people.
this was just funny. at school after my appointment, and apparently i am NOT the worst speller around lol.
other pix from school:
again, for those who have been keeping up, i have recently stated that my dogs have become a more integral part of my life. i have starting to open up to them more, and no longer see them as pets, and more of children. it has made my daily return home more enjoyable:
my pretty girl kenai
so for their positive affect on my current life, i decided that today i would treat them very well. todays first order of business, after washing my car, that is, was the dog park. a wonderful place of pure joy and relaxation. took the two best publicly, sadie and kenai. pictures include:
sadie's favorite way to ride lol
pretty girl loves to ball herself up like a cat, she fits right in my bucket seats lol
apparently i had a hitch hiker with me for quite awhile. thank you to the lady with the dane to point this out, which felt odd, as she was as old as my mother and noticed soemthing that was rather close to my crotch....
and then the return home, where i began something i have been wanting to do for awhile... work on my landscaping. first order of business, the failing flower bed out front. here are some great pictures from this ordeal:
the process involved removing all the rock outlining, then using the shovel to break up the soil. remove all weeds from the roots, remove soil, lay weed paper or whatever that stuff is called, replace soil, add black mulch. i think it turned out nicely. have a bit more to do tomorrow. i did all this shirtless in an attempt to gain somewhat of a tan, yet only my back got it. so from this i walk aaway with a white front profile, tan back profile, back pains, cuts and bug bites on my arms, and a much better looking flower bed. going to plant another.... something or other in the big empty area to the right in the pictures.
well, thats all ill throw around today. so, till next time, sg land!
EDIT:
just had a very sweet on the floor snug moment with my beautiful kenai.... brought some large smiles! i loves my sweet bi-polar puppy! lol
