hello SGland !! I hope you are all well and at home, today I’m going to talk about a story that I really enjoyed reading, it’s time to go back to old habits, read more ... always more.✨✨
Howard Philips Lovecraft's short story has an extremely high quality. The Colour Out of Space, In a few pages, it makes us afraid of a simple color. His psychological terror is well developed, showing how the unfortunate family begins to suffer from the effects of the meteor that fell on their land. Putting us in the place of the storyteller, who only believes in the facts because he was there witnessing them.
while studies are being done and, strangely completed, the region suffers from undesirable changes. The fauna and flora began to transform. Abundant, large, but rotten fruits were produced in those lands. Trees begin to wilt and gain a certain fluorescence. Tragically, the family that owned those lands began to change, in an unexpected and unspeakable way...
"- Nothing ... nothing ... the color ... it burns ... cold and wet ... but it burns ..."
When you start to read “The Colour Out of Space” it is impossible to let go until you finish reaching the last page. From the first paragraph we are involved in the perfectly balanced and convincing setting as far as possible. All the melancholic description of the vegetation and the strange climate is extremely vivid and colorful, giving us the impression that something unfriendly is lurking.
