I couldn't help expressing my feelings, especially for the song "Sur L'Océan Coleur de Fer"!
Sometimes, when music so beautiful, inexplicable, to the point of stirring and warming the soul, a high and unattainable wonder, and which of the many arts, if not music and poetry together, are capable of making the human soul transcend to higher and purer levels, this happens a lot when you come across some alcest music.
It happened with "Sur L'Océan Coleur de Fer", work of the poet Paul Jean Toutlet.
The work received its most beautiful tribute with the homonymous music contained in this album, released in 2010, interpreted based on the musical and sensitive "poetics" of our dear Neige. The poem's support point finds its way through the artist's melancholic and "aquatic" arpeggios, which constantly keeps the theme present on the disc (it is impossible to hear this piece without associating it with the beautiful cover designed by Fursy Teyssier). A wavering hope, like a fire that can be seen from afar. This is the image on which the album focuses: the hope of one day being able to relive and remember those inexplicable experiences, abandoning the regret and melancholy caused by its now unattainable distance.

this year they announced a special birthday show for this album, and it will be in paris, i really wanted to go, but i still don’t know if i can do it, even more because the tickets are super competitive. if you have the opportunity to go, it is my recommendation!
