✨Hello✨
It is quite satisfactory when a series manages to overcome its problems and evolve over the seasons. Especially those that have a huge growth potential, but that face the negative aspects. Castlevania went through this process, breaking the cocoon that prevented it from shining even more.
Known as one of the most celebrated video game franchises, Castlevania won in 2017 an anime adaptation by Netflix, which came with its first season and left us wanting more.
Castlevania makes a point of debating the meaning of humanity through different perspectives. Return to the agenda the vocation of men to cause their own misfortunes, whether through fear, arrogance or lust, as well as the ability to overcome their own darkness in favor of a greater good. Through small victories and defeats, the production proposes reflections that use metaphors to reflect not only what the human being is, but what could become from certain stimuli.
Of course, the scenes of struggle and violence are still present, as well as the always fluid animation. Some moments are extremely beautiful and disturbing. In fact, it is almost impossible to complain about the technical aspects of Castlevania.
All of these factors combined make Castlevania one of Netflix's most interesting original products. There was a fear of the direction of the story after Dracula's death, but now we know that there is much to be explored. The secret is not to go back, as the future looks bright.
