Look familiar?
The one on the left is my new roommate. I have another roommate that writes classical music and then there's me that makes the hippidy hop music. Cool huh?
this is my roommates band.
Its no big secret that the music industry is struggling. Music sales were down for the 5th consecutive year in 2004, and no one seems to think its going to change. This decline is due to to several facts. Everyone points to digital piracy. but this is actually minor. Illegal downloading if obviously theft, but it hurts the industry only about as much as cassette dubbing did in the 1980s. The bigger issue is that everyone replaced their records and tapes with cds in the 90s, and that created an inflated since of demand that erroneously became the industries accepted standard. Its not that all people are buying fewer albums: its more that fewer people arent buying the same album twice.
I don't download music unless I pay for it. I'm a collector. Something about reading the cd insert. I also know peopel in te credits. One of the guys I went to school with got credit for working on OutKast album. Last time I talked to him he was at a Ludacris pool party.
Best Friend. And yes ladies. He's single.
"You can see a pack of kids dressed like Little Bo-peep- with staffs with pink bows on them- just rolling down the middle of the street, obviously sheepless but, you know, ready for Little Bo-peep action."
Beck Hansen on Japanese fashion.
July 21st was Don Knotts birthday. Did you celebrate?
