I went swimming at the reservoir next to my house. I went to put my glasses up on a thing attached to the pump house (that I was jumping off of) and they fell into it. My glasses are gone. And apparently granny is a shitty stalker. I feel like crying.

People sure talk about "nixion" a lot.

My account expires July 4th, I'm just gonna let it go. I don't really feel like paying for websites anymore either. I sure am gonna miss the layout though frown

Although I don't think I'll miss the high and mighty who cry themselves to sleep at night (often listening to Bright Eyes). I've run into a lot of them...

I was walking to the video store and I was thinking of all the people I've idolized. People I looked up to for their kindness; Johnny Depp, Sid Meier, Moby; People with no problems of their own who start charities, like Gregory Peck. I want to be known for my kindness. I want a statue of me to be made someday. In fact, not even...

helping others does make a person feel good. i use to be a part of food not bombs when i was living in cali. i met a lot of kewl homeless people who had stories to tell that i will never forget. My husband and i also started a local ARA group ( anti racist action) . I have a feeling that the group is no longer around since we moved.
As for people that I look up to, it's not really for their kindness it's more for what they did. I look up to Bobby Sands and the rest of the 1981 Irish Hunger Strikers. Part of it is for what they did but another part has to do with my husband being related to 3 of them. They died for what they believed in and for the freedom of their country, it's hard not too look up to somebody like that.
i had to edit this cause i was doing some more thinking about your journal entry and it made me think of something . u spoke of people u admire for their acts of kindness. i gave it some thought and the one person who came to my mind was my birthmother. she did one of the hardest acts of kindness that a mother could do by giving me up for adoption so i could have a better life . one that she couldn't provide for me since she was very young . for many mothers who have to go through this it;s more then just hard. u are giving up a piece of u and your life to strangers. not only do i look at it as an act of kindness i look at it as an act of love.

Some people really should be sterilized.

I swear the ignorance in some people really never ceases to amaze me.

Oh well, at least it's not me this time.

her: I didn't take it that way
me: good...
her: I don't jump to conclusions that fast
her: you are probably one of the least creepy people i met online

I really wish everyone I talk to could be this understanding and nice and not so stuck up and full of themselves. But I guess that'd make everyone in the world the same. Would it..?

Today I went to James aka Peter Parker's today, with his lady type. On the way to his house, we were in a parking lot that reminded me exactly of a couple in TX. I would do anything to spend one more night with Robin. Going to wallmart at 3AM, or anything. I got a little choked up, but I was fine. I said something...

It's odd how an action or a place or even the suggestion of either can be so closely tied with another person. A while back I was in a grocery store at 3am and I got a little teary when I realized that a while back I was there every week with the Italian Girl at that time. And, you're right, it's rarely about wanting to go back; more about a moment of human weakness.

Nothing like a walk to clear out the randomness in the neurons.

Making a girl laugh is the best feeling in the world.
rickroyal:
I tend not to rank those good feelings, but making a girl laugh is certainly up there. And when she reaches out to grab your shoulder because she's laughing so hard she can't breathe? Yeah.
