So I was walking home from the movies the other night down at Centro Ybor and someone actually tried to run me and my roomate over in a minivan (stolen according to the cops). They had followed us from one block over parallel to the street we were walking on for a few blocks. I noticed what was going on but didn't really think that shit like this happened, it is not like i know these people or anything. After attempting to run us over me being the "tough guy" that I am, I threw my hands up in the air and shouted out a big, "what the fuck"! My roomate being a little more freaked out by the incident started sprinting towards the house. I guess they didn't like the fact that I wasn't shaken by the incident so two of the (8 to 10) people that were riding in the van jumped out. I continued to walk towards my house until I hear my roomate Johnny shout out "RUN dumbass", I turned around and the two young kids were now running after me shouting "get back here". I began to jog (still not too freaked out by anything cause at this point i am realizing that these kids are like 16 or 17 years old), calmly jogging and hoping this kid would catch me out of view of his posse so I could whip his ass... By the time I got foot in my yard and turned around they had already begun to run back towards their van so I called the cops. Kids these days are fucked in the head. When I was 16 me and my friends were doing lawnjobs, not trying to run over pedestrians, and I would never think about starting an unprovoked altercation at any age. Kids these days piss me off.
