The progress on my painting has slowed down..... it'll take some time for me to finish it.....
I am continually amazed how each painting seems to progress slower than the last. And that's not a retrospective kinda observation, that's a, 'wow.... man this is going slow!' kinda observation. Every time, seemingly without exception.
I wonder if I'll slow down to three-toed sloth speed. A human two-hundred-frames-per-second slow-motion man.
two hours to eat breakfast,
four hours to finish my coffee,
seven hours to take my shower,
twenty-four hours to dry off.....
As time and space are relative to ones perspective, I suppose one couldn't actually perceive their own life slowing down, but rather, only notice everyone else's life speeding up.
I wonder if there is potential for immortality due to procrastination?
"really, I swear, I'm dying.... it's just taking me a really long time to finish."

Checked out your paintings Btw. I particularly like your centipede and skeleton paintings, a really nice blend of precise life observation mixed with a touch of surrealism. Mosquito and dung beetle are very good also. Good work, I'll keep my eye out for more.
